Research and theory play a vital part in the creation of contemporary art. Reading theories from different fields, formulating concepts, and writing texts is part of almost every artistic practice today. The colloquium invites students from performance, composition, and other fields to share their work and their questions in order to clarify conceptual, theoretical, and dramaturgical issues. They will have the possibility to find and discuss theoretical approaches that relate to their artistic interests and themes.
